Premium mixer brand Double Dutch has expanded its portfolio with the launch of the Cocktail Soda range, comprising of two variants – the Bloody Mary Soda and Cucumber Margarita Soda.
Double Dutch has taken ingredients from classic cocktails to develop the new sodas, which can be mixed with spirits or enjoyed on their own as a non-alcoholic alternative.
The Bloody Mary Soda combines the rich tomato taste of the classic cocktail with basil, cucumber, pepper and chilli, to create a “spicy” and “herbaceous” drink that is “full of flavour”. Topped with a hint of brandy vinegar, the drink is recommended paired with vodka, simply poured over ice.
Double Dutch’s Cucumber Margarita Soda with chilli incorporates flavours of cucumber, Persian lime, bell pepper and chilli. It is best enjoyed when combined with tequila and ice, served in a salt-rimmed Martini glass.
The two new sodas, like the rest of the Double Dutch collection, are low in calories, at under 20 calories per 100ml, as well as vegan-friendly and free from preservatives and artificial ingredients.
Raissa de Haas, co-founder of Double Dutch Drinks, said: “We are proud to announce the launch of our brand-new Cocktail Soda range, which provides yet another option for busy bartenders, hospitality groups, consumers and cocktail-enthusiasts to make creative drinks easily and consistently while not compromising on flavour.
“Both the Bloody Mary Soda and the Cucumber Margarita Soda with chilli are an extension of our ethos to elevate spirits rather than mask them, and are a lighter, flavoursome addition to the range.”
