Speciality Drinks has partnered with Edrington-Beam Suntory UK to supply wellbeing packs to those working in the UK drinks and hospitality sectors.
The initiative has been developed to help ease the pressures caused by the latest Government measures to tackle the Covid-19 pandemic.
The wellbeing packs, containing food and store-cupboard essentials, are available now via the Speciality Drinks website, with an initial 1,000 ready to send immediately and scope to produce many more, should there be a demand.
All members of the drinks and hospitality sector who find themselves out of work or struggling to obtain the essentials they need day-to-day will be able to apply for a pack by providing a few simple details online.
Those wishing to apply for a pack can do so online by clicking here.
Jen Baernreuther, sales director at Speciality Drinks, said: “We have worked with the team at Edrington-Beam Suntory UK to create these wellbeing packs to support the members of the hospitality industry, a group who are at the heart of our businesses.
“With our industry temporarily shut down, it feels like a very uncertain time for everyone, and we’ve chosen the contents of the packs to lend a little support to those who need it, helping them to stay stocked up on essentials during this time.”
The Speciality Drinks and Edrington-Beam Suntory UK teams are also helping to promote other bodies who can help.
Drinks industry charities such as The Drinks Trust (previously known as The Benevolent) in England and Wales and The Ben in Scotland are working to support those in the industry during the Covid-19 pandemic.
