Eclectic announces plan for tiki bar Lola Lo in Sheffield

Lola Lo, Manchester

Bar operator Eclectic is continuing roll-out of its Polynesian tiki bar concept Lola Lo with a new site planned for Sheffield.

It has announced today that it has signed a 20-year lease on an undisclosed site in West Street, set over two levels with ground floor and first floor totalling 6,500 square feet and an outside area.

The company intends to develop the unit before the end of its financial year in June 2015, bringing its overall portfolio of bars and clubs to 23.

As with other more recent Lola Lo bars, the Sheffield site will include the group’s successful Island Grill food offering.

Eclectic currently operates nine sites branded as Lola Lo in Brighton, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Derby, Lincoln, Norwich, Oxford, Reading and Manchester (pictured). Last month, it announced plans to open another Lola Lo in Liverpool by June 2015.

Eclectic also operates bars and clubs around the UK trading as Embargo 59, Sakura, Dirty Blonde, Lowlander, Coalition, Po Na Na and Fez Club.
