Spencerfield Spirit has brought back its limited-edition Christmas release for Edinburgh Gin, infused with traditional festive spices of frankincense, myrrh and nutmeg.
First released last year, Christmas Gin has been developed at the Edinburgh Gin distillery in partnership with Heriot-Watt University School of Distilling.
It comes in a custom-made bottle, crafted with Bruni glass, which features an opulent art deco label combining the colours of Christmas. Like the core Edinburgh Gin bottle, it has been designed to be more slimline making it easier for bartenders to hold and pour.
Edinburgh Gin will be donating £1 of every bottle of Christmas Gin sold in the UK to the Trussell Trust which works to empower local communities to end hunger and poverty through the use of food banks. The money will be earmarked for use in Scotland.
Alex Nicol, managing director of Spencerfield Spirit, said: “We are so pleased to be bringing our Christmas Gin back for a second year and to be supporting the Trussell Trust which does amazing work in Edinburgh and throughout the UK.
“Christmas Gin was extremely successful for us last year so we are looking forward to seeing what this year brings.”
At 43% ABV, Edinburgh Gin is crafted in small batches with high-quality Scottish juniper berries, pine, heather and nine other botanicals.
