Folkington’s extends range with sparkling juice pressés

A new range of sparkling juice pressés in cans is being launched in the on-trade to complement Folkington’s bottled juices.

The four-strong Folkington’s Garden range comprises Ginger Beer, Rhubarb & Apple, Elderflower, and Lemon & Mint, made with sparkling natural spring water.

They come in 250ml cans for both the on-trade and off-trade. They each contain less than 100 calories and use only natural ingredients and no concentrate juices.

Paul Bendit, founder of Folkington’s, said: “This is a huge and exciting leap forward for the Folkington’s brand which has grown tenfold in the last four years.

“Cans are rapidly gaining popularity for premium drinks and are also friendly to the environment. This new range of sparkling drinks complements our range of fruit juices and provide more choice to our customers.”

Launched in 2011, Folkington’s juices already include Cloudy Apple, Mango, Pear, Cranberry, Tomato and Pink Lemonade.

In the new Folkington’s Garden range, the Ginger Beer is made from West African ginger root with a little Sicilian lemon and English rhubarb to add some extra notes.

The Elderflower pressé is made from wild elderflowers picked from across the English countryside and blended with a splash of pure lemon juice from Sicily to add a little zest.

The Rhubarb & Apple pressé is made from English Scrumptious and Worcester sweet apples specially picked for Folkington’s and blended with Timperley Early rhubarb juice from England.

The Lemon & Mint pressé is made from pure Sicilian lemon juice and the essential oils of English-grown mint.
