Folkington’s launches tonic with English garden flavours

Premium mixer and fruit juice company Folkington’s is launching a premium tonic water made with classic English garden flavours.

Exclusive to the on-trade, Folkington’s English Garden Tonic Water contains a blend of rosemary, mint and cucumber – all grown in Britain – along with natural Indian quinine, the essential ingredient in tonic.

It comes in stylish 200ml glass bottles, available alongside the Classic and Perfectly Light tonic waters that were also launched in 150ml cans early this year.

It is the first entry for Folkington’s into the rapidly growing flavoured tonic water sector and is crafted to complement the quintessentially British character of a gin and tonic.

As with all of Folkington’s tonic waters, English Garden is designed to be as delicious on its own as it is as a mixer.

Folkington’s founder Paul Bendit said: “History tells us that it was the British that created the gin and tonic so nothing was more tempting than to create the romantic notion of an ice-cold G&T blended with herbs and produce that are typical of an English garden.

“So our English Garden tonic water delivers the subtle, refreshing aromas and flavours that you’d expect to enjoy on a lazy English sunny day. And like all our tonic waters, it enhances rather than dominates the unique flavours of gin.”
