Purple Pineapple Chicken Teriyaki kff

A new range of fillings inspired by current food trends has been launched by KFF, a leading independent foodservice wholesaler.

Under its exclusive Purple Pineapple brand, they are suitable for sandwiches, wraps and jacket potatoes, each mixed by hand and made at the point of ordering to ensure maximum shelf life.

The new range, each available in 1kg pots, comprises:

  • Chicken Teriyaki (pictured): sliced chicken and spring onion coated in a rich teriyaki sauce
  • Coronation Prawn: prawns and sultanas in a lightly spiced curry mayonnaise with a hint of mango chutney
  • Chilli Beef Brisket: shredded beef brisket and red kidney beans in a sweet chilli sauce
  • Fiery Three Bean: mixed beans and mature cheddar cheese combined with a fiery Mexican sauce
  • Spicy Houmous: chickpeas, houmous and peppers coated in a chilli sauce.

KFF managing director Chris Beckley said: “With sandwiches considered to be one of the most important products for chefs and caterers, selecting the right fillings that suit your customer base is essential.

“The demand for such quality fillings is high, yet often the range available can be limited. Our customer research identified this and we have since developed a new range of fillings that provide chefs and caterers something new and exciting to offer their customers, and a great alternative to regular fillings.”

The Purple Pineapple brand uses only free-range eggs in its mayonnaise and fillings, demonstrating KFF’s commitment to ethical sourcing and superior products.

The full Purple Pineapple range contains over 60 varieties of filling using ingredients from only accredited suppliers and developed by KFF’s Chefs Think Tank of industry experts.
