Freedom Brewery launches exciting ‘escape room’ competition for Nottingham Craft Beer Week

Freedom Brewery have set up an exciting new competition taking place on June 12 and 13, open to all venues in the Nottingham/Midlands area.

The competition, taking place during Nottingham Craft Beer Week, is called “Escape to Freedom” and will involve bars working as a team to try and complete an “escape room”.

“Escape to Freedom” was designed by the independent brewer to try an offer the bar industry something a little different and fun. The competition is a part of their 25th Hour Campaign, which is trying to motivate adults across the UK to find that “extra” hour in the day to pursue their passions.

Venues taking part will be given a one-hour time slot to complete the escape room, with the quickest two teams then going head to head in a final for their chance to win a 25th Hour Experience. Afterwards, they’ll be able to chat with Freedom Brewery’s head brewer, Jonathan Smith, and taste through the amazing range of sustainably produced beers, as they enjoy a delicious pie for lunch or dinner. Sounds like a pretty good team day out if you ask us!
