Frizzenti promotes twisted classics for sparkling wine

Frizzenti MojitoItalian sparkling wine brand Frizzenti is promoting sparkling twists on classic cocktails to bars as it grows on-trade distribution.

With the wines’ light and fruity qualities, they are suitable for mixing, including a sparkling version of one of Britons’ favourite cocktails, the Mojito (pictured). The serves are supported by a range of point-of-sale and merchandising materials.

The sparkling wines are Frizzenti Classico and Frizzenti Rosato, available in a 20litre keg for serving on tap in bars, pubs, restaurants and clubs.

Frizzenti’s managing director, George Workman, said: “Prosecco is doing exceptionally well across the board but licensees are missing out on the potential trade up to cocktails. Both prosecco and cocktails have experienced a huge surge in popularity in recent years and together they form the perfect partnership to engage customers and enhance profit.

“Licensees should seize the opportunity and add some sparkle to their cocktail menus to set themselves apart from the competition and establish another reason for their bars to be destination outlets.

“Speed is of the essence in any busy bar and our highly visible fonts enable outlets quickly and easily to create classic Prosecco cocktails, a sparkling twist on a Mojito or seasonal serves such as a Summer Punch or Autumn Spritz.

“They add theatre at the bar and ensure the perfect pour every time and when licensees serve them in beautiful glassware topped with a vibrant garnish, they can create simple quality cocktails that offer the wow factor and also encourage customers to come back for more.”

Frizzenti Classico is made from Glera grapes and produced in stainless steel vats using the classic Charmat method. It is a young and light sparkling wine with an ABV of 10.5%, has intense primary aromas and tastes fresh and light.

Frizzenti Rosato is made from Pinot Nero and Raboso grapes and has an ABV of 10.5%. Smooth and tangy on the palate, it has a fruity bouquet with a raspberry note.
