Vimto Out of Home’s frozen cocktail brand Fryst is launching a special edition variant for the festive season.
The pink and glittery Unicorn Sparkle is made form one part gin and four parts “unicorn slush”, and celebrates the flavour of watermelon.
Available for a limited time only, the new frozen cocktail variant has been introduced for Christmas events and parties.
The “glittering serve” was trialled this summer at events including the popular Formula 1 Grand Prix at Silverstone, courtesy of Freeman Event Partners, where serves with gin performed in the top half of overall sales.
Ed Jones, senior customer marketing manager for Vimto Out of Home, said: “We’ve seen massive growth in the demand for frozen cocktails this year, which we’re expecting to continue as we move into party season.
“They offer a fantastic point of difference for bars – and staff simply have to pour the base spirit, add the Fryst mix and serve. Simple.
“We sell more than 40million cups of frozen drink a year and Unicorn Starslush, which we unveiled earlier this year, is already a bestseller, so it made sense to add this flavour to our Fryst brand to create the ultimate gin cocktail.”
