Fuller’s new beer will raise money for Prostate Cancer UK

London brewer and pub company Fuller, Smith & Turner has launched a seasonal beer to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.

Available during December in Fuller’s managed and tenanted pubs and independent free trade outlets, Wise Men is a 4.0% golden ale with malty, tropical and citrus notes and a hint of blackberry. It’s brewed with American Mosaic Hops, giving it a bold finish and is only available on cask.

Fuller’s will donate 50p for every pint of Wise Men sold in its 196 managed pubs and £10 for every firkin sold to its tenants and free trade customers. Nick Corden, retail marketing manager for Fuller’s, said: “When we were approached by Prostate Cancer UK to support them during the Christmas period, it made sense to combine the two things Fuller’s is best at – brewing great beer and serving it in fantastic pubs. The new beer is already proving to be a big hit with our customers and it’s great to be raising awareness of, and money for, such an important cause.”

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK, and 11, 000 men die from the disease each year. Money raised through Fuller’s pubs will help fund research into the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of prostate cancer.
