Professional drinks refrigeration expert Gamko have launched a thought leadership campaign centred around optimum drinks temperatures, crucial to unlocking the full flavour and aromas of beverages.
The move will provide bar staff and others working in the industry with insight, information and specialist knowledge about drinks cooling while communicating the brand’s expertise.
Imperative to the campaign is the theme of optimal serving temperatures, which is being explored across various formats and channels, including video and written content.
Leading flavour expert and ‘flavour guru’ Pritesh Mody, has been secured as brand ambassador.
Mody, a regular presenter on C4’s prime time TV show Sunday Brunch, has unrivalled experience of the drinks industry and contributed to Gamko’s in-depth video discussing the science of temperature and flavour, as well as upcoming drinks trends for 2020.
Footage, which is now live on Gamko’s website is being supported by various written content in the form of blog posts, some of which are already live on the Gamko website, as well as a practical ‘drinks temperature guide’ to provide helpful at a glance information in a downloadable and printable format.
The launch of the campaign follows the unveiling of Gamko’s new branding.
Mody said: “Temperature is vital to getting the most out of drinks – just a few degrees too warm or cold and you lose the complexity of flavour. This is an incredibly useful resource for bar staff as well as others working within the industry.”
Katy Chilvers, Marketing Communications Manager for Gamko, said: “This is a very exciting time for Gamko. As experts in the field of commercial refrigeration our goal is to help catering businesses run successfully.
“The new drinks temperature guide and associated written and video content is designed to be an expert resource that provides our audiences with useful information while conveying our passion, expertise and specialist knowledge.”
