German-style glassware introduced for new beer

Krombacher Hell

New glassware shaped like a traditional German stein has been introduced for premium German beer Krombacher Hell in the UK.

The arrival of the branded pint glass, also called a seidel, follows the launch of the 5% ABV Bavarian-style helles lager that was added to the Krombacher portfolio at the end of last year.

Aimed at people who prefer full-bodied beer, Krombacher Hell has a subtle touch of hops that ensures it is less bitter, has a distinct maltiness and sweetness. It is available to the UK on-trade in a 30-litre keg.

Krombacher UK sales director Stephan Kofler said: “We are delighted to introduce a stein for Krombacher Hell to the UK market.

“Krombacher Hell has been a great addition to the portfolio of products we offer in the UK and the pint stein is a great alternative to regular glassware.”

Krombacher, the number-one premium beer in Germany, is also available as the flagship Pils and as Dark and Weizen.
