The winners have been announced in this year’s Great Taste Awards, from spirits and beers through to all kinds of fine food.

Langley’s No 8 Gin from Charter Brands, Rock Rose Gin from Dunnet Bay Distillers in Caithness, and Sibling Triple Distilled Gin from Sibling Distillery in Gloucestershire were among brands gaining the top three-star score.

In the beer category, winners of three stars include Halcyon and Jaipur from Thornbridge Brewery, Monument Soft Bitter from Tyne Bank Brewery, Sparkling Beer Brut from Savour Beer, and Three Hundreds Dark Old Ale from The Chiltern Brewery.

Winners have also been announced across food categories ranging from cured meats and cheeses through to frozen desserts, teas and coffees. Visit for the 2015 winners’ lists.

The Great Taste Awards, described as the “Oscars” of the food world and the “epicurean equivalent of the Booker Prize”, are organised by the Guild of Fine Food.
