Global Brands promotes Halloween cocktails for VK

Spookily spectacular cocktails are to be offered in pubs and bars through new activity for Halloween for ready-to-drink brand VK.

Building on the brand’s position as the number-one RTD choice for students, Global Brands has developed a series of “Potions” using different flavours in the VK range.

With a bowl-shaped sharing vessel, the cocktails will be served with popping candy to add a “sinister” crackle to the drinks. The recipes also feature Global Brands’ Corky’s Sour range.

They include Monster Mash, made with VK Black Cherry and Corky’s Sour Cherry over ice, topped with lemonade, and Blood Berry, combining VK Strawberry and Lime with Corky’s Blueberry and ice, topped with lemonade.

Global Brands’ marketing director Simon Green said: “Halloween is a high-volume student period and we want to help licensees capitalise on this.

“At this time of year students want exciting, themed serves which embrace the eerie atmosphere, adding a touch of Halloween thrill to their big night out to share with friends.”

Supporting point-of-sale kits, including A3 posters, orange bat bunting and branded balloons, are being distributed to bars and pubs help them bring the theatrical theme to life.
