Halewood secures distribution deal with Beluga vodka

Halewood Wines & Spirits has secured UK and Republic of Ireland distribution rights for super-premium Russian vodka brand Beluga.

From July 1, Halewood will take over from Cellar Trends to supply both the on-trade and off-trade with Beluga’s collection of vodkas.

The range hails from the Mariinsk Distillery in Siberia, which was established in 1900, and includes Beluga Noble, Transatlantic, Allure, Gold Line, and Hunting variants.

Beluga will join Halewood’s existing portfolio of handcrafted premium vodkas, which includes JJ Whitley Potato and Rhubarb Vodkas, Whitley Neill Blood Orange and Rye Vodkas, Liverpool Vodka, and Glasgow Distillery’s G52 Urban Craft Vodka.

Sergey Mikhaylov, export manager for Western Europe at Beluga Group, said: “Halewood has built a proven track record for taking brilliant brands further.

“As such, we’re confident the business can deliver significant growth for us in the UK, which remains one of the world’s largest luxury vodka markets.”

Stewart Hainsworth, group CEO at Halewood Wines & Spirits, said: “Beluga has built a worldwide reputation for producing high-quality vodka. It’s an excellent extension of Halewood’s existing range of innovative and artisanal spirits.

“We see tremendous opportunity to take the brand on to even greater success.”
