Two of Britain’s best-loved beer brands have announced a new collaboration with the launch of Hops & Glory, a 4.2% ABV modern Real English Pale Ale brewed using 100% British ingredients.
Partnering for this limited-edition release, Hawkstone and Butcombe Brewing Co. one of the UK’s leading cask brewers and the name behind the iconic, multi-award-winning ale, Butcombe Original, have united around a shared passion for high-quality British farming and brewing.
Brewed at Butcombe’s state-of-the-art brewery in Bristol, Hops & Glory will launch into the on-trade in September 2026 for Cask Ale Week, available for a limited three-month period until November only. A true celebration of great British brewing, produce and craft, this one-off collaboration sets out to unite farmers and hospitality workers around a shared purpose, to support the industries at the heart of British communities.
The collaboration features a significant charitable initiative, with every cask of Hops & Glory sold, ten pounds will be donated directly to UK hospitality and mental health charities the Licensed Trade Charity (LTC) and Shout. This ensures vital support continues for people working in the hospitality and farming industries facing challenging times.

Brewed using 100% British ingredients, the liquid profile includes six British-grown hop varieties alongside premium Maris Otter malting barley and pure Mendip spring water. The resulting brew is a light, bright golden ale delivering vibrant aromas of juicy citrus, and gentle tropical fruit. On the palate, it offers a refreshing profile of orange zest, tropical fruit, and subtle floral notes, with a clean and crisp finish.
