Healthier options on the menu at Plateau with Fair Spirits

Fair at Plateau

A range of healthier cocktails have been introduced at London restaurant Plateau using spirits and liqueurs made from Fairtrade ingredients.

The cocktails use Fair Spirits’ Fair Quinoa Vodka, which is made from organic and Fairtrade-certified quinoa from the 3,000-metre-high Altiplano plateau in the Andean mountains.

The range includes Genuine, made with fresh kiwis, cucumber, Fair Quinoa Vodka, kiwi syrup, fresh organic apple juice, elderflower cordial and lime juice.

The StratosFair.ic Marietini combines cherry tomatoes, French mustard, celery salt, cayenne pepper, oregano, lemon juice, balsamic vinegar glaze, basil, mint and Fair Quinoa Vodka – which all comes in at under 100 calories.

Fair.ness Punch is made with Fair Quinoa Vodka, pineapple, cloves, liquorice bitters, fresh orange juice, lime juice and Fair Goji liqueur. The liqueur, made from Himalayan goji berries, uses Fairtrade sugar cane from Malawi, has a very low sugar content of just 140g per litre and is full of anti-oxidants.

The cocktails are available at the Canary Wharf restaurant and bar, part of D&D London, until the end of October, priced £9 each.
