Healthy snack trend prompts lentil crisp launch in bars and pubs

Lentil Lites

Fairfields Farm is picking up on consumer demand for healthier bar snacks with the launch of Lentil Lites into the bar and pub sector.

The wholesome, low-fat and low-calorie crisps are made with lentil flour and available in three flavours: Tomato & Herb, Blue Cheese and Jalapeno & Lime. Each bag contains less than 99 calories.

Robert Strathern, founder of the artisan crisp company, said: “The snack market is changing and our on-trade customers are now looking for healthier options for their punters. People want more choice and that’s why we’ve launched Lentil Lites.

“These crisps are made using slow-energy releasing lentil flour, which is not only wholesome, but also keeps you full up for longer. They are already proving popular with pubs, bars and hotels.”

Lentil Lites are available in boxes of 18 and recommended for sale at 85p per pack.
