The Hooper’s range of traditional-style alcoholic drinks has been extended with the addition of traditional British flavours of strawberry and elderflower.
Global Brands has added it alongside Dandelion & Burdock, Cloudy Lemonade and Ginger Brew to offer a sweeter premium ready-to-drink (RTD) alternative for “discerning” drinkers aged 25 to 45.
With ABV of 4%, the sparkling Hooper’s Strawberry & Elderflower comes in 500ml bottles. It is being promoted as an accompaniment to desserts such as fruit cheesecakes, Eton mess and ice cream.
Global Brands will support the launch at the start of 2014 with promotional point-of-purchase materials in the on-trade on top of off-trade, digital PR and social media activity.
