Trevethan Gin sponsors the Trencherman’s Guide for the 4th year running
– Saltash-based Trevethan gin was a sponsor of the Trencherman’s Guide Awards, which took place on Monday 27 April 2026.
As a long-standing supporter of the Guide, Trevethan sees the partnership as more than sponsorship – it is a shared investment in the people, businesses, and networks that make the region’s hospitality sector unique.
Carly Fordy, Brand Manager at Trevethan Distillery says,

The Trencherman’s Guide and annual awards has also provided Trevethan with a platform to champion fellow South West businesses and connect with like-minded operators who share a passion for quality, collaboration, and local identity. The award-winning distillery is also using the awards as a ‘kick off’ point to refocus business efforts in the region in which the business was started.

“We’re coming home. We’ve spent the last few years building up our relationships with retailers such as Sainsbury’s and Waitrose which has been incredible, and now there is a job to do in going back to our roots and working with local businesses, creating cocktail menus and food pairing menus that shine and that celebrate how incredible the food and drink scene is here in the South West. In hospitality and drinks, everyone is on the same team. Collaboration matters, and supporting each other creates stronger businesses and stronger communities.”
Despite wider industry challenges, Trevethan has continued to see momentum in the on-trade, supported by a growing appetite for premium, locally made products and a collaborative hospitality network, with cocktails listed at venues such as Cici’s Bar at Paul Ainsworth’s No.6 in Padstow, Michael Caine’s Lympstone Manor, and Ugly Butterfly by Adam Handling MBE.
The past year has been particularly significant for the distillery, with several major retail and hospitality milestones helping to elevate the brand.
The South West has become synonymous with craftsmanship, authenticity, and quality – qualities that continue to resonate with consumers.
