The latest innovations in the hospitality industry, from food and drink to equipment and interiors, are to be recognised with awards at the 2015 Hospitality Show.

The new Star Product Awards are open to all exhibitors at the event which takes place at NEC Birmingham from January 19 to 21. They cover 10 categories plus a people’s choice winner.

Toby Wand, managing director at exhibition organiser Fresh Montgomery, said: “The Hospitality Show has a rich tradition as a launch-pad for new products, new ideas and ways of thinking.

“Not only will the Star Product Awards give exhibitors a pedestal to showcase their latest innovations to the industry, show visitors will also be treated to a scintillating first look at some of the products that will help set the British hospitality agenda in 2015.”

Visitors will get the chance to see and experience the 10 Star Products throughout the three days as well as being able to vote via Twitter for the people’s choice award.

Toby added: “It’s incredibly important that show visitors get to have their say as they may be using some of these products in the near future. Using social media is a fantastic way of achieving this.

“It couldn’t be more straightforward: the recipient of the People’s Choice Award will be the product that receives the most twitter mentions. To all show visitors: if you see a great product, make sure you tell us on Twitter.”

Show exhibitors can go to www.hospitalityshow.co.uk/star to find rules, criteria and to enter their products now. All entries will be judged during the show, with the 10 winners unveiled at 4pm on the first day of the exhibition, January 19, on the Business Briefing Stage.

The Hospitality Show is the UK’s largest and most relevant hospitality trade show in its calendar year and the place where the British hospitality community comes to network and do serious business, consistently attracting high-quality exhibitors and special guests sourced from across the hospitality industry.

In 2015, the core focus is around the “Best of British” – a launch-pad for everything new and great in British hospitality. Visitors can register for a free ticket at www.hospitalityshow.co.uk.
