A London hotel bar is offering on an “immersive sensory experience” of gin through a partnership with Bombay Sapphire.
Running until October 15, the six-week pop-up at Sanderson in London’s West End takes guests on a “gin journey”, travelling to the Mediterranean, West Africa and Asia, inspired by the gin’s botanicals.
An exclusive menu of “Ultimate Gin & Tonic” twists inspired by each region is on offer alongside a bespoke selection of light snacks to complement the drinks.
On Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6.30pm, Bombay Sapphire brand ambassador Renaud de Bosredon is available to guide groups of consumers through an “elevated sensory journey”.
During the bookable sessions, 12 consumers have the opportunity to discover and explore the signature cocktails via a series of creative experiences through touch, sound, smell and sight and learn more about the gin’s production.
Each fortnight, consumers explore a different region from which the Bombay Sapphire botanicals are sourced, with bespoke decorative touches and a limited-edition Ultimate Gin & Tonic twist.
The first signature serve, based on the Mediterranean botanicals, featured an exotic atomiser to heighten the drinking experience through the senses.
“Gin Journeys at Sanderson” is open daily from 6pm until late. It runs alongside the existing Sanderson Sessions, which take place every Wednesday, showcasing some of the UK’s most exciting up-and-coming musical artists. Throughout the pop-up, artists will be chosen to complement that fortnight’s botanical region focus.
