How to make The Tregothnan Cocktail


Tregothnan Cocktail Oliver Blackburn, assistant bar manager at Claridge’s Bar at Claridge’s Hotel in London, has risen to the challenge to create a “legendary” cocktail using Hennessy Fine De Cognac with tea.

Paying homage to Claridge’s long-standing tradition for tea, he infuses the cognac with Cornish Tregothnan Earl Grey which is then shaken with pineapple, honey and lemon juice before being served over Earl Grey ice.

The Tregothnan Cocktail

50ml Hennessy Fine De Cognac infused with Tregothnan Earl Grey Tea
40ml Pineapple juice
20ml Lemon juice
1 barspoon of blossom honey

Shake and strain over ice made from Earl Grey tea.
