Bar operator Gerry Calabrese has built on the success of his Hoxton Gin with the release of a premium pink gin.
The new gin is made with botanicals such as rose, rosehip and hibiscus sugar alongside gunpowder tea, bergamot, grapefruit, orris, liquorice, camomile, elderflower and juniper. It gains its distinctive colour from the addition of 100% natural hibiscus syrup.
At 40% ABV, Hoxton Pink comes in 70cl bottles, with a recommended price in retail of £33. The brand is distributed in the UK by Emporia Brands.
Gerry said: “I am really excited to expand the Hoxton Portfolio and even more excited that we have been able to create another premium gin with attitude – one that breaks all of the conventions of flavour when it comes to gin, and one that we hope our consumers won’t be able to get enough of.”
It follows the launch this year of Beefeater Pink by Pernod Ricard UK and Gordon’s Premium Pink Gin by Diageo GB.
Gerry, who operates London bars such as Wringer & Mangle and The Hoxton Pony, launched his Hoxton Gin in 2011 using botanicals including coconut and grapefruit.
Recommended serves for Hoxton Pink Gin include a Hoxton Pink Fizz, pouring 50ml of the gin over ice in a glass, topping with prosecco and garnishing it with fresh raspberries. The perfect gin and tonic serve is with a slice of grapefruit.

Build in a glass and garnish with a strawberry.
