Ibiza inspires pop-up bar for Brugal rum

Brugal DaiquiriAn Ibiza-inspired “bohemian” cocktail bar is to pop up on an east London rooftop this week, serving cocktails made with Brugal rum.

Events specialists Hire the Barman have teamed up with the brand to create Emporio Eivissa at Rockwell House in Hewett Street, Shoreditch from May 8 to 11.

The event promises a market where visitors can pick up summer outfits and jewellery from different retailers, and enjoy themed street food, relaxed music and views across east London.

Cocktails on offer will include a Daiquiri, priced at £6 each, as well as cocktail ice cream using dry ice, made using a special method developed by mixologists from Hire the Barman.

Brugal Rum has worked with Hire the Barman in the past to run a number of sampling campaigns and manage the Brugal Rum Shack – an experiential transportable bar.

Emporio Eivissa is part of distributor Maxxium UK’s efforts to raise the profile of the brand which is the number-one rum in Spain and popular in Ibiza.

Hire the Barman has a track record in managing experiential campaigns on behalf of drink brands as well as fashion and sports labels, including activities at the Isle of Wight Festival, British Grand Prix, London Fashion Week and London 2012 Olympic Games.
