Inception Group is to unveil a new club concept to mark the fifth anniversary of its popular London venue Bunga Bunga.
Club Bunga will be located on the top floor of the cocktail, pizza and karaoke bar, taking over the space previously occupied by Latin American-themed club Cocobananas which opened over two years ago.
Like the ground-floor bar and pizzeria, the top two floors will be a pastiche of Italy, featuring drinks vessels shaped like Michelangelo’s statue of David, large Roman statues and inscribed wall murals.
It will also bring back the stripes of the Italian flag that caused a stir earlier this summer when they were painted on the façade of the building to tie in with the Euro 2016 football tournament.
The top floor will whisk guests away to the Italian Riviera, decked out with striped beach chairs, parasols, icebox tables and a photobooth resembling a vintage changing room.
Unique to Club Bunga will be a prosecco bar, offering five varieties as well as an “innovative” range of cocktails.
The new club will be launched on September 8 to tie in with Bunga Bunga’s fifth birthday party.
