Innis & Gunn releases fruity IPA

Scottish craft brewer Innis & Gunn has introduced Mangoes on the Run, a limited-edition mango IPA that packs a fruity punch for the summer.

The 5.6% ABV beer is loaded with hercules, citra and simcoe hops and mangoes, revealing notes of citrus fruits and sweet mango on the nose.

The brewer has described the finish as smooth and balanced, with a lingering hoppy bitterness.

Mangoes on the Run is the latest addition to Innis & Gunn’s growing portfolio of IPAs. It follows the successful launches of the Session IPA and Gunnpowder IPA, which was released in a 330ml can format earlier this year.

Dougal Gunn Sharp, founder and master brewer at Innis & Gunn said: “We wanted to create the perfect beer for summer, and our new Mangoes on the Run IPA is the fruitiest number we’ve ever brewed – packed with tropical flavours and fruity hops for a mightily refreshing beer.”

Mangoes on the Run is available in 330ml can format and on draught in select bars throughout the summer.
