Japan inspires pink limited release from Burleighs gin

Burleighs Pink gin

Leading distiller Jamie Baxter has developed a pink edition of Leicestershire gin Burleighs, inspired by a trip to Japan.

Burleighs Pink was made to the gin’s London dry recipe but distilled along with Japanese preserved cherry blossom, pink grapefruit, hibiscus and rose flowers, resulting in a vibrant, smooth and fresh gin.

At 40% ABV, it has a very limited release, with only 600 bottles available in a beautiful eye-catching opaque pink design.

Jamie, who is master distiller for Burleighs, said: “Tokyo is full of wonders and I have created a gin that encompasses some of the excitement and joy that can be found in the great city.”

The limited-edition batch is available online at www.burleighsgin.com and from 45 West Bottle Shop & Bar, 4a Hotel Street, Leicester LE1 5AW.

Burleighs London Dry Gin is distilled in Leicestershire on a 450-litre custom-made copper pot still nicknamed Messy Bessy. It is also available in Signature, Export Strength and Distiller’s Cut.
