- The Swedish drinks brand, famous for its bold and fruity cider, spirits, and cocktails range, is bringing a new Spiced Blackberry variant to its seasonal cider range.
- Kopparberg’s Spiced Apple cider will return alongside the new variant to stores in October 2022.
- Both spiced variants blend sweet fruit with warming cinnamon and can be served warm or cold.
In time for the festive season Kopparberg has launched a new Spiced Blackberry variant alongside a fresh look and feel for its long-standing and bestselling Spiced Apple cider.
As well as double-digit year-on-year growth since launching in 20141, the sweet caramel apple and warming cinnamon flavour is a staple of the winter season – with Kopparberg Spiced Apple taking the titles of bestselling seasonal cider variant and bestselling single bottle apple cider for Christmas 20212.
Building on this success, Kopparberg developed the new Spiced Blackberry variant to suit the 57% of fruit cider drinkers listing a berry flavour within their favourite fruit cider variety3.
The independent Swedish brewer describes the new flavour as “a sweet and tangy blackberry paired with warming cinnamon for a perfectly balanced, winter drink.”
Satisfying the ‘almost half of fruit cider drinkers who enjoy warm cider throughout winter’4, Kopparberg’s spiced variants can be served warm or cold satisfying the demand for warm variants which over-index with 18-to-24-year-olds during the festive period4.

From mid-October, Kopparberg Spiced Apple will be available from Tesco, Asda, Morrison’s, and Sainsbury’s stores with Kopparberg Spiced Blackberry launching in Tesco, Asda, and Sainsbury’s stores.
