People around the world are being urged to tweet their descriptions of Laphroaig whisky for projecting onto the wall of its warehouse on Islay.
Until Saturday (October 15), fans and foes of the single malt are asked to post their honest opinions on Twitter using the hashtag #OpinionsWelcome.
The most imaginative opinions – whether good or bad – will be selected to appear in a large-scale live Twitter projection on the distillery’s Warehouse No 1 wall including the author’s Twitter handle.
The spectacle can be watched at www.laphroaig.com/opinions, where every post throughout the five-day event is being captured, showcasing just how contentious and divisive Laphroaig can be.
It follows the release of videos, which can be viewed by clicking here, where views range from “heavenly golden drops collected in one smokin’ bottle” to “as if a merman washed his codpiece in antiseptic and dried it by the fire”.
