A south Leicestershire pub restaurant in the village of Mowsley is set to be sold in Bond Wolfe’s September auction.

The Staff of Life, Lutterworth, a traditional village inn, is an attractive two storey pub on 0.23 acres which occupies the site of the original Staff of Life which dated from the mid-1700s.

It is being sold on behalf of fixed charge receivers with a guide price* of £295,000 and is currently closed.

A traditional village inn in look and style, it comprises a bar and dining areas over split levels with a mix of flagstone and timber floors.

It includes an open feature fire, part bench seating and a central bar servery, all serviced by a commercial kitchen and ladies and gents’ WCs.

On the upper floor is the private living accommodation, having a landing, lounge, two bedrooms, bathroom with WC, and central heating.

Externally, there are attractive seating areas to the front and rear, including terrace and decking, and a gravel surface car park to the rear.

Mowsley lies approximately 11 miles South of Leicester city centre, nine miles east of Lutterworth and six miles west of Market Harborough. The village benefits from easy access to the national road network via the A14, A6, M6 and M1 motorways.
