Selected Walkabout bars around the UK are trialling the Mini Beer 43 – one of the signature serves for Spanish liqueur Licor 43 – to tie in with the Six Nations rugby tournament.

The shooter (pictured), which is a 25ml shot of Licor 43 topped with whipped cream, is being served at “Golden Parties” held at Walkabout bars in Cardiff, Derby, Birmingham and Temple in central London.

The first Golden Party was held on February 6 for the first match, and the next will be on February 14. The parties were developed by the brand last year to celebrate “golden moments” with friends.

Branded items are available for customers visiting the selected sites while they enjoy live coverage of the Rugby Six Nations.

Julia Bliss, Licor 43 brand manager at UK distributor Cellar Trends, said “We are thrilled to be trialling the Mini Beer 43 within Walkabout. It’s an excellent partner for us, and we are excited to host the Gold Party Promotions within the Cardiff, Derby, Birmingham and Temple venues.”

The next parties will be held on February 14 at 1pm before match kick-off at 2.30pm.

The signature Mini Beer 43 was added at all of Be At One’s bars in London, Reading, Bath and Bristol in November last year.
