Liverpool bar serves up ‘sophistication’ with cocktail menu

Castle St Townhouse Bow Tie

Castle St Townhouse in Liverpool aims to serve up “a taste of sophistication” with its eclectic new cocktail menu.

Located in the city’s thriving Commercial District, the all-day dining and drinking destination has a selection of classic and signature cocktails created by the bar team, with names such as the 3 Mirrored Feeling, The Bow Tie and Townhouse Battenberg.

General manager Robert Andrew Scott said: “The selection offers a wide range of flavours for each and every taste but whether your preference is for fruity, sweet, or sour flavours, we will have something to please everyone.

“The whole team here at Castle St Townhouse has had an input in the creation of the menu so it’s a real mixture of both customer and team favourites and it perfectly reflects our ethos of all day and night drinking and dining devoted to you.”

The Fireside Jamaican combines Plantation and Gosling’s Black Seal 151 rums, velvet falurnum, cacao, lime juice, freshly squeezed passion fruit and pineapple juice with passion fruit and a lime wheel.

The Brunch Punch is a mix of Green Mark vodka, Midori, Archers, Malibu, pear juice, cranberry juice and orange juice, garnished with an orange slice. Free as a Bird combines Hendrick’s Gin with St-Germain elderflower liqueur, elderflower mixer, gomme, lemon juice, cucumber and mint.

Robert added: “We’re all very proud of our new cocktail menu and we felt that it’s the perfect way to maintain our bartenders’ pristine reputation as highly skilled mixologists across the city. Each of the drinks on our new menu are appropriate for each and every season, but we felt that there was no better time to introduce them than summer as we know there’s nothing more refreshing than a delicious cocktail on a hot day.”

Castle St Townhouse’s new cocktails are priced from £7.
