Bars and restaurants are ready to celebrate Peru’s national spirit and cocktail with the second London Pisco Sour Week starting this weekend.

After the success of last year’s activities, the Peruvian Embassy’s UK trade and investment office has brought it back, running from February 6 to 12. It ties in with Peru’s national Pisco Sour Day which is on February 6.

Bars across London will be offering special menus featuring the Pisco Sour and a variety of twists including Andina, Boca Hackney, Ceviche, Ceviche Old Street, Chotto Matte, Comedor Grill & Bar, Coya, First Aid Box, Ladies & Gentlemen, Lima, Lima Floral, Loves Company, Oriole Bar, Pachamama, Señor Ceviche, Shrub & Shutter, Sushi Samba, Tierra Perú, Titos and Zebu.

The Four Sisters in Islington will present Tierra y Mar (pictured), its take on the classic using seasonal blood orange and rocoto chilli – ingredients commonly seen in classical Peruvian dishes such as ceviche and tiradito. It combines Machu quebranta pisco with lime juice, blood orange juice, rocoto pepper, egg white and rhubarb bitters. Click here for more on The Four Sisters.
