London hospitality operators urged to canvass customer votes for Going Out Awards


Booking platform DesignMyNight has launched its annual 2024 Awards in which customers are encouraged to vote for the best of London’s hospitality experiences.

Voting takes place from 28th February to 1st April across 12 categories with winners gaining valuable promotion to the 3.9 million monthly users of DesignMyNight. In excess of 150,000 votes are expected to be cast. Nominated venues do not have to be listed with DesignMyNight.

“The goal of our Awards has always been to get a real-time pulse check on the venues and events that are getting it right and are delivering an excellent customer experience. The beauty is that anyone can win; they don’t need to be affiliated with DesignMyNight to take part. Anyone running a hospitality venue in the capital, be it bar, pub, club, restaurant or event, can benefit by tapping into their customer base and encouraging votes,” commented DesignMyNight senior marketing manager Leighanne Bent

The 12 categories in the awards include The Pub You Couldn’t Live Without, Best for Dazzling Views of London, The Venue That’s Worth The Queue, Late Night Guilty Pleasure, and TikTok Made Me Book It.

To celebrate the launch of the awards DesignMyNight has commissioned London’s first exhibition dedicated to hospitality. The Art of Going Out: The Exhibition will reveal 12 tongue-in-cheek pieces of art that represent various aspects of going out in London. The exhibition, curated by exhibition specialist EDNAEDNA, takes place on 30-31st March at 15 Bateman Street, London W1. Tickets cost £7.50, which includes two Whitebox cocktails throughout the 60-minute experience. Book through DesignMyNighthere.
