A new bar and restaurant is to open next month serving “crafted” cocktails with a signature smokiness alongside slow-cooked barbecued meats.
Low, Slow & Juke is being created on the corner of Victoria Street and Abbey Orchard Street in London, near Westminster Abbey, in the former site of the Abbey pub by Revere Pub Company, part of Marston’s.
It will specialise in inventive cocktails such as a Gingerbread Manhattan, with many having a signature smoky element, as well as London artisan beers, complementing the punchy flavours of the food menu.
Main meat dishes will be hand rubbed and rested for 24 hours before being smoked low and slow for 16 hours. Specialities will include St Louis slab ribs, beef brisket, beef ribs and honey and barbecue glaze through to high-quality burgers.
The venue will be designed with a bright and airy colour palette with warehouse detailing and an open smokehouse feature. Total capacity of the dining and bar areas will be around 150, with several areas suitable for private group bookings.
It is due to open officially on February 18.
