Private karaoke company Lucky Voice has acquired a new site in Holborn which is set to become the fourth London venue in its growing UK portfolio.
Lucky Voice already has three owner-operated venues in Soho, Islington and Brighton. The fourth site, based on Chancery Lane, will open in early 2019.
The 5,000 square foot Holborn location will be home to the company’s largest VIP karaoke room, for over 25 people. It will have a late license until 3am on weekdays and 4am at weekends, making it a new significant late night destination in the ever-evolving midtown area of the city.
Respected agency CT Creative will oversee the design of the new venue. Work will shortly begin on creating a look and feel to cater for the local demographic.
Managing director Charlie Elek said: “We’re excited to bring another late night entertainment venue to the area, and to be playing our part in keeping the Mayor’s dream of a 24 hour city alive.
“The success of Lucky Voice (Christmas bookings are already 20% up on last year) reflects the fact that there truly is a demand for after-hours entertainment in our Capital, and we’re very proud to cater for that.”
Lucky Voice plans to invest over £1.5m into the Holborn site, which marks the latest milestone in a period of development for the business.
The company plans a further London site for 2019, and other major UK cities in the coming years.
