Devon-based Lyme Bay Winery has added a festive gin to its growing spirits portfolio.
Taking inspiration from the cold season, Winter Gin “contrasts the dark days with a warmth and rich complexity”. The expression features earthy tones layered against black pepper and nutmeg as well as notes of elderberries, blackberries and a hint of burnt orange.
The seasonal gin is recommended mixed with a premium tonic and garnished with a stick of cinnamon and twist of orange.
Paul Sullivan of Lyme Bay Winery said: “Gin is incredibly popular at the moment and customers are increasingly looking for something different in this crowded market.
“As experts in flavour, Lyme Bay is uniquely placed to create interesting new botanical notes and tastes.
“We decided to add a Winter Gin to our successful range to extend the opportunity for retailers throughout the winter months by offering drinkers a seasonal and festive tipple. Our Winter Gin ticks all the boxes to support retailers in a vital trading period.”
