Manahatta heads to Harrogate

Leading operator Arc Inspirations is opening the doors to its New York-inspired bar concept Manahatta in Harrogate, Yorkshire this September.

Residing off Parliament Street in the site currently occupied by The Pit, a £400k investment has seen the space dramatically renovated, with a glamorous interior featuring peacock blue booths and neon signage.

Manahatta Harrogate will offer guests a premium cocktail menu designed by bar development manager Mark Austin. Bespoke creations come in the form of the Manahatta Spritz and the Cuban Postcard, while Pornstar Martinis and Espresso Martinis will be available on draught.

A new USA-themed food menu will also be on offer, featuring dishes such as Mac Lasagne and the towering Empire State Chicken, as well as lighter bites and salads. Manahatta’s burger menu has also been enhanced with the addition of the new vegan Beyond Brooklyn burger.

Manahatta is bringing its signature Bottomless Brunch to the new site. Running every Saturday and Sunday between 11am – 4pm, guests can enjoy a special brunch menu with unlimited prosecco, draught Coors and select cocktails.

The Harrogate venue will be available for private bookings, from birthday parties to VIP meetings, with several different spaces, including the upstairs bar which can cater for up to 20 customers.

Martin Wolstencroft, chief executive of Arc Inspirations, said: “We’re thrilled to be introducing Manahatta to the people of Harrogate and can’t wait to unveil the finished results.

“The bar promises to be spectacular and the re-development reaffirms our commitment to offering guests premium drinking and dining experiences every time they set foot in our venues.

“It’s exciting times for us as we continue to focus on and invest in our highly differentiated growth brands and maintain the momentum we’ve achieved over the past year through successfully opening bars in new markets and reimagining what we’ve done previously.”

Manahatta Harrogate will make its debut on Friday 6 September.
