Margarita Rumble returns to London and Manchester

Margarita Rumble

New York City’s Craft Hospitality is returning to the UK for Margarita Rumble, a bottomless festival that pits top bars and mixologists against each other to find the UK’s best tequila cocktail.

The event, which is sponsored by tequila brand Jose Cuervo, will take place in London and Manchester on Sunday 5 May. It invites the public to a ‘grand ole fiesta’ to sample their favourite bars’ own takes on the classic cocktail.

Taking place at London Fields Arches in London and Victoria Warehouse in Manchester, Margarita Rumble will see over 15 specially curated bars and restaurants, and their top mixologists, competing for the title.

Guests can choose to join one of three sessions of free-flowing margaritas, with each reveller being given a token on arrival to put into the ballot box of their choice and vote for their favourite cocktail. The winner will be chosen in the last 15 minutes of the final session.

Entertainment on the day will be provided by DJs, dancing day of the dead skeletons and other surprises. Plus Jose Cuervo will also have their tequila experts on hand who will be offering masterclasses to attendees.

In London, chef James Cochran of 12:51 Upper Street and 2018 Winner of Great British Menu, will be serving up food to pair with the cocktails, while in Manchester, food will be provided by authentic Mexican restaurant, El Taquero.
