Guests at Bar 45 at London’s luxury 45 Park Lane hotel will be able to toast this month’s Oscars winners with a cocktail created with American vodka Tito’s.
Created by its bartender Thomas Morris, The Director’s Cut (pictured) takes its name not just from the film-making term but from the hotel’s restaurant, Cut at 45 Park Lane, headed by chef Wolfgang Puck.
The cocktail combines Tito’s Handmade Vodka, which is six-times distilled in Texas from yellow corn, with limoncello and lemongrass syrup, topped with champagne and garnished with a piece of candied ginger.
Available at the Mayfair bar throughout February, the cocktail is priced at £16.
45 Park Lane, part of Dorchester Collection, is marking Oscars night on Sunday (February 22) with a special menu created by Wolfgang for his restaurant, featuring specialities previously served to Hollywood’s elite at past awards galas. Dishes will include Chinese chicken salad with crispy wontons, Thai spice chicken pot pie, and black truffle risotto.
