Molson Coors ties with Sky

CarlingBrewer Molson Coors has teamed up with Sky on a joint promotion to help boost footfall, reduce costs and provide an improved customer experience for licensees.

In a first for the industry, independent licensed premises that buy a Sky TV commercial subscription and drinks from Molson Coors’ portfolio can save up to a third on their Sky Ultimate subscription.

They will also get a price freeze on Carling until December 2013 and be able to receive free wi-fi.

Simon Cox, wholesale business managing director at Molson Coors, said: “We all know the difficulties that the independent on-trade is facing, and Molson Coors and Sky are committed to supporting the industry by helping to drive people into their local. We have joined forces to offer significant savings at a time when we know our customers are particularly price sensitive.”
