Molvino Fine Wine and Spirits is delighted with the achievements of its growing portfolio of unique and quality products at the 2015 International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC).

Its premium Firestarter Vodka, which is from Moldova and five times filtered through platinum, won a Silver Outstanding award in the category for neutral 40% ABV vodkas from eastern Europe. It also won Silver in the spirits packaging competition.

Its soon-to-be-launched Firestarter 7x, which is seven times filtered, won Silver Outstanding in the category for 40% ABV artisan vodkas and Bronze in the spirits packaging competition.

The brand was also a winner in the category judging the best vodkas for using in a Bloody Mary, with both original Firestarter and Firestarter 7x gaining Silver awards.

Its Tower Bridge London Dry Gin won a Bronze medal in the gin trophy and Silver in the category for the best gins for a gin and tonic. It also won a Bronze in the spirits packaging competition

As well as launching Tower Bridge London Dry Gin this summer, Molvino Fine Wine & Spirits Co is expanding its portfolio with Molvino Prosecco DOCG and Spumante, sourced from Treviso in Italy, which are scheduled for launch in September. It won Bronze in the IWSC’s non-vintage Prosecco Conegliano Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG category.

Mark Ingram, business development manager at Molvino, said: “We have worked hard over the past 12 months with some of the best distillers, vineyards and suppliers to develop these quality products.

“We are confident that these new offerings from Molvino will exceed customers’ expectations and become drinks of choice for discerning drinkers.”
