Movember inspires bar’s moustache cocktails

primo barWith the annual Movember charity drive under way, a bar in London is offering a nine-strong list of cocktails inspired by different moustache styles.

Primo Bar (pictured) at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel is offering the drinks at £7.95 each, with £4 from each cocktail going to the charity which raises awareness and funds for prostate and testicular cancer and mental health.

Dating back 10 years, the global Movember campaign challenges men to grow a moustache for the 30 days of November in return for sponsorship. Many bars, pubs and clubs support the campaign, including shave-off events at the end of the month.

The “Mo” cocktails are named after the moustache styles suggested in this year’s official Movember style-guide: The Wisp, The Rock-Star, The Trucker, Abracadabra, The Box Car, The Connoisseur, The Undercover, The After-Eight and The Regent.

They are available at the bar until November 30. The bar team have shared some of the recipes with us below.

Primo bar will also be offering a free glass of prosecco to anyone with a moustache (fake or real) on November 23 at a free gig featuring its house band House of Angels.
