Mozart adds chocolate liqueur aged in bourbon casks


mozart RGSpirits and liqueurs specialist agency Mangrove has launched a new addition to the Mozart range of super-premium liqueurs.

Mozart RG Milk Chocolate Cream is a 17% ABV blend of Belgian gourmet chocolate, Madagascan vanilla, fresh cream, cocoa butter, Forastero and Trinitario cocoa from Ghana and fine alcohol distillate.

Dieter Fadinger, Mozart’s master distiller and master chocolatier, has developed a complex and elaborate maceration process where the unique cocoa macerate is refined in bourbon oak casks for at least six months.

Nick Gillett, managing director at Mangrove, said: “This tastes amazing. Using bourbon oak casks to refine the macerate is pure genius. Mozart RG is another jewel in Mozart’s crown: a showstopper in the chocolate liqueur category.”

Mozart RG is available in 70cl bottles and packaged in pink ruffled foil, reminiscent of a chocolate box treat and designed to reinforce its super-premium credentials.

Mozart RG joins Mozart Gold Chocolate Cream, Mozart White Chocolate Cream, non-cream Mozart Black Dark Chocolate, Mozart Dry Chocolate Spirit and Mozart Chocolate Bitters.
