Mozart Chocolate Liqueur springs into summer, with Harvey Nichols tie up

Mozart Chocolate Liqueur, the only multi-award-winning chocolate liqueur[1] in the UK, has announced a wave of activations throughout the on and off-trade, across the Easter period.

Founded in 1979, Mozart is crafted with natural ingredients such as cocoa from West Africa and Madagascan vanilla and has a variety of flavours and smaller packs for gifting occasions.

Mozart is kicking off a plethora of activity with luxury department store Harvey Nichols with a range of in-store and online activations, including a six-week takeover of the Fifth Floor Terrace in Knightsbridge until the end of April. A selection of Mozart “choctails”, including an Espresso choctini, will be on the menu, showcasing the versatility of the liquid along with the brand world being brought to life through the décor.

Running alongside the terrace takeover, Mozart will also be hosting a series of in-store sampling stations across the Leeds, Birmingham, and Edinburgh stores, and will also be supported with a range of in-store and digital communications.

Mozart will be further investing in the on-trade, appearing in an Easter cocktail, the Rasp-bunny Martini, at Be at One outlets nationwide, as well as in The White Rabbit cocktail at Slug and Lettuce outlets, as part of its Alice in Wonderland activation. Mozart is now the number one chocolate liqueur in the on-trade[2].

Olivia Yelf, Senior Brand Manager for Mozart at Marussia Beverages says, “We’re delighted to team up with Harvey Nichols this springtime; this is the first time we’ve partnered with a premium retail outlet of this scale and it’s the perfect opportunity for us to drive awareness and sales in the weeks leading up to Easter, a key chocolate trading period. Our growth figures indicate a clear trend of consumers turning towards more indulgent serve options, and Easter is the perfect time for Mozart to answer this consumer demand through a range of activations to satisfy consumer demand”.

[1] Across 2021 and 2022,  the Mozart range has received medals in the following competitions: WSA, IWSC (International Wine and Spirits Competition), ISW, DLG, ISC and the London Spirits Competition
