Yorkshire-based on-trade distributor and snack manufacturer Mr Scratching has agreed a deal to distribute Get Your hound Inn’s range of Pub Grub for Dogs.
The new deal marks a move by Get Your Hound Inn to expand its product distribution to the 2,000 venues that Mr Scratchings already trades with and visits regularly.
It is estimated that the pet snack market is worth £500m. Pubs and bars welcoming man’s best friend have experienced an uplift, according to a recent survey carried out by CAMRA and The Kennel Club.
Get Your Hound Inn’s chicken and salmon dog treat has been designed specifically for the pub and licensed trade. Delivered on a ‘pub card’, the packs can be hung conveniently behind the bar like regular snacks and peanuts.
Louise Bezyk, CEO of Get Your Hound Inn, said: “We are excited to open our doors to Mr Scratchings large range of van distribution customers.
“This will create a convenient way to buy our product and save existing clients within Mr Scratchings area having to pay for delivery and starts our plans to become a distributor led product line.”

“We’ve already welcomed new clients on board that bought Get Your Hound Inn but weren’t on our rounds.”
