A new consultancy has been launched to help hotels to improve sales and service, including front-of-house staff in bars and restaurants.
The Right Balance is focused on helping management to train and motivate their staff to achieve business objectives, from increasing sales to enhancing the guest experience.
Based in London, it is headed by Tobias Cornet who has a background working for five-star hotels and providing consultancy to leading hotel groups around the world.
He was previously a senior performance consultant at TSA Solutions, the world-leading specialist in front desk upselling, for nearly 10 years but began his career working in hotels, including reception manager at the London Hilton on Park Lane and front-of-house training manager at The Dorchester.
The Right Balance specialises in consultancy covering food and beverage operations as well as retail, spa and leisure, reservations, concierge services, conference and banqueting and front desk, helping to find ways to upsell, cross-sell and generally improve revenues.
Tobias said: “Our aim is not only to help hotels to increase their revenue but to achieve other goals for their business, using our unique tools and workshops.
“We can provide new tools for monitoring performance and motivating teams, including those working in hotels’ bars and other food and beverage operations.
