New ‘Day of the Dead look’ for Trooper beer

Iron Maiden and Robinsons Brewery have revealed a limited edition design for Trooper beer ahead of Halloween on October 31.

Inspired by Mexico’s Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), Iron Maiden’s iconic Eddie character will don a traditional Dia de los Muertos appearance throughout October and November, tapping into the growing market for Halloween beers.

The limited edition Day of The Dead Trooper is available in 500ml bottles, with bespoke pump clips for cask, across the on-trade.

Trooper brand manager Sam Kennerley said: “The Halloween opportunity in the UK keeps growing and we wanted to create something a little different this year to give Trooper fans and beer lovers something new to engage with.

“We are incredibly proud of our recent award win, and how Trooper continues to perform well in the UK and across the 50+ countries that we export to.

“Iron Maiden have a huge fan base in Mexico, so to take inspiration from Dia de los Muertos and combine with the iconic Eddie character felt like the perfect fit.”
